Training is often assigned to specific members or departments within an organization and while these individuals may hold primary responsibility for coordinating and delivering training, every person in the organization plays an important role in the learning process. Whether supporting new hires or helping experienced employees grow, training is a shared responsibility that extends beyond a single position or unit. This course explores how everyone contributes to training and professional development within an agency. It includes a refresher on how adults learn, encourages reflection on whether our organizations are creating cultures that support and promote learning, and highlights the ways each of us influences the training environment. By recognizing that learning happens through daily interactions, mentorship, feedback, and shared experiences, participants will better understand how their actions contribute to the growth and development of others and themselves.
